Mike and Ann Jay Harrison have been married for 29 years this July. Both of them are educators and this year Ann Jay will be retiring after 33 years in the classroom. Ten years ago Ann Jay started working as a travel agent due to the fact they loved to travel. Through the years they have been to several destinations but one of their favorites was Barbados. Their love of American History took them to where George Washington lived with his brother Lawrence for a couple of months. The rich history of the island was captivating. 

This past year they felt led to venture out and start their own travel agency, After much prayer, The Travel Escapes, LLC was a direction they knew God led them to start. They are excited to see their business grow and incorporate group travel to historical places. They are the proud parents of two sons and a wonderful daughter-in-law. 

Christy graduated from Troy University with a Bachelors in Social Work. She married her high school sweetheart, Brad, and he is active military. They have three sons and an amazing daughter-in-law. Being a military family they have found a passion for traveling, and going on adventures as often as they can. Christy’s favorite vacations include Hawaii and Grenada. Her favorite hobbies include: family time, traveling, photography, and watching sunrises and sunsets as often as possible.  She would love to help you plan your next All Inclusive, Destination Wedding, Cruise, Family Vacation, All Things Disney, Hawaiian Vacation.

Shannon Rose-White is a dedicated educator with 28 years of experience. A proud graduate of the University of Alabama, Shannon has been happily married for 15 years and is a loving parent to two children and four grandchildren. Beyond her passion for teaching, Shannon’s zest for life is evident in her love for travel. Exploring new cultures and landscapes fuels her spirit, and she’s eager to share the world’s wonders with others. Shannon believes in the transformative power of travel, especially for students, and looks forward to continuing to inspire young minds to explore and learn from the world around them. Shannon’s true passion lies in exploring the world. She is on a mission to inspire everyone around her to see and experience the wonders of our planet. Whether through organizing your adventures or advocating for student travel opportunities, Shannon is committed to spreading the joy and enrichment that come from discovering new cultures and landscapes.

Growing up, both our families cultivated a love for traveling! Some of our most memorable moments have been traveling and exploring various parts of the country! We have dedicated our professional lives to serving our community, whether it be in times of crisis or navigating life after high school. Justin, is a career Firefighter for 15 years and Jennifer has over a decade of service helping indviduals with Develolmental Disabilities plan and transition for life after high school. We decided in 2024 to take that same passion for servanthood and apply it to our clients who wish to plan their vacation.Each family that allows us to be part of their journey fills us with gratitude, as we cherish the opportunity to transform their dreams into tangible experiences. When we aren’t planning, we are raising our two children and loving on our Golden Retriever, Sully!
